So, I just replaced a wing mirror from a different Zed, and I seem to have different connections -

Did the mirrors change at all between years, or do I have the wrong plug? I don't think I do, it's the only one it can be, or can find.

I'm not sure here but could it be one set of connections (uk) having heat but not folding and the jap mirrors folding electronically?

I considered that, that the pins to the left (in the pic) are for heated mirrors. Wing mirrors and the car are both JDM. They are folding mirrors, currently folded!

I think I had just assumed that all Z32s has heated electric folding mirrors.

Some where heated and some not, hence the plug, i had the same issue when i changed mine.

Oh great.... So that's all it is? I mean, if I 'hard wire' it, all will be ok? Seems like a lot of wires to fold and unfold.

I guess if I really wanted to I could take a wire from the rear window to heat the mirrors.

Its not just fold and unfold though is it lol, mirror glass tilt up and down, in and out, then the fold in and out, so with a live feed and shared earth to all.

You could join the wires and either use a meter or touch each one to get the right combination with the switch or cut the the plug with a length of loom from your old mirrors and splice to the new ones so you can still unplug them if need be.

The heated mirrors part comes from the same button as the heated windscreen now mate

Thanks, I don't have other door mirrors, just the original doors that the mirrors came from, so I can use the plugs from there. It's been such a long time since I took everything apart, it's so easy to forget where everything is and how to put it back on! lol
