This questions more for our race guys, but what do people recommend to counter oil slouch during track use? Like the idea of a dry sump, but can't afford one, what with the engine build, turbos and injectors...

Featured Replies

I looked in to the speciality z sump for mine, which if I recall is around 800 dollars before shipping. That is supposed to be better baffled as well as higher capacity.

take it off and baffle it yourself?

did that with my sump, probably not the best but my sump is front pickup and i dont get any oil pressure reductions during accel or cornering.

Alternatively, run hilariously cheap tyres and you'll never suffer from oil starvation.

Already am lol had riken £35 specials on for Silverstone (didn't have time to fit my federal track tyres) oil still slouched out the dip stick hole...

Don't know alot about them, will look into them. Thanks.

No problems. Jimmy has one. I've been looking at them myself, quite cost effective and basically boosts oil volume and maintains oil pressure in those surge conditions. Half way house between a dry sump.
