Had to get a new battery today but seems the last owner has cut down one of the battery threaded rods, has anyone got one for sale

I have a brand new rod but it would probably be cheaper to just go and buy one rather than for me to post it.

If you buy threaded rod locally, you can cut to length easy enough and with it in a vice you can bend and create a sufficient loop :).

That was my point but I'm more than happy to help him out if that's what he wants.

Mine came without any of the strap stuff, I bought a universal one from halfords that did the job

So the position is. You can have either a brand new halfords whatever rod, or one of the original rods that came with it (the other one is too short somehow).

 

The halfords one is a little tricker to fit as it has a bigger hook, but they both fit and are long enough.

 

If you have yourself some already that's fine.
