Chunk known to many members and has been involved in a serious accident on the motorway , he was airlifted to hospital and has sustained very serious injuries to his one remaining leg , as far i know he broke his tib , fib and femur and serious injuries to his ankle as well as broken some ribs and other stuff , thankfully he,s off a ventilator and is on the road to recovery after a few ops , i,d like to wish him a speedy recovery so he can get back to his drifting .

I spoke to him today. He's in finer spirits today and has had all the ops he needs for the foreseeable future. Luckily his knee joint escaped unscathed and the rest is skeletal damage that been pinned and plated with a couple of skin grafts to boot. He's hoping to out of hospital fairly soon once he's got a bit of mobility back

i wish him well also, had the privilege to meet him about 12 years ago when he came to our scottish meet while recovering from his last injury.

Is this the accident from a couple of weeks back mate or has there been another one? I really hope not.

Yes bud it was in the last couple of weeks . just thought i,d put a heads up on here as i,d seen it on facebook and not everyone uses it .

That's not good news - but hopefully Rich is on the road to recovery.
