Yep, that was me. Did two runs late afternoon as arrived quite late.

Only went twice - managed 14.4 on one of them @ 103mph. I was there with a bunch of other mates, mostly in BMWs and Merc but did have an R8 and two Astons.

Yep, first time doing it and that time was my first run! I'll certainly be back for more!

I'm guessing, cos from my limited experience your end speed is over 100 it was your first 1/8th of a mile tat slowed you. Difficult launches? Did you video it? As I say mate well done. Hoping to join in this summer. Maybe we can meet up there.

I have often thought it would be a good place for a meet. I would be up for it.

I did video both runs, yes. Will confirm first 1/8 later as need to grab the paper. Launch felt fine actually, very grippy and didn't spin much.

That's cool. Mine seems to launch much better now I've refurbed stuff, no more fish tailing.

Terminal speed is directly related to power not technique.

103mph is about right for a mildly tuned but heavy Z32

 

Compare it to Noz's quick TT at 113 and my NA of 94.
