my build thread

time to start a thread now so wil have a go loads of pics to up load so will start with some parts i have

few part for the engine build but the car will be on the road with the bigger turbos i have on the car for now, but will get another engine to do a big build so far i have gt675rs turbos high flow mike smith manifolds tomei 740cc injectors eagle rods 2 air filter will be getting duel maf translater 2.5 inch intake pipe with z1 massive intercoolers the bigger throttle bodies not sure what cams am using yet a worked head maybe larger valves am loking for about 620 690 bhp

yes its getting there 3 years later lol

spent many hour at the body shop today got the rear boot lid on and the 99 wing fitted, so i started the wet sanding as am doing it now as the paint shop it taken to long all done by hand

yes mate should have the car back in the next few days soon as its back i will get it off for you

Ah yes the antenna, I didn't spot that as I'm so used to seeing mine without it now, it's become "the norm". Whilst I wasn't bothered by the washer jets, having seen it on a couple of cars now, it is another nice touch.

the wet sanding is done thanks god the car is coming home 2 moz at last will get some pic in the light of day but you can see here just how well its come up

the car is home at last time to build this all back up my fone cam does not pic up the colour very well its a audi red its really red in real life but fone cant pic it up

Get to work putting it back together, and for Gods sake, DON'T SCRATCH THE PAINTWORK:thumbup:

got the roof liner back in and t top seals interior mirror and few other bit had to stop for today as was getting a bit frustrating

put the mirror back together and fitted am very happy i did the same colour as the car just like the 99 cars looks much better also fitted door handles thats was a lot of messing to get the buggers back in

Only just joined the forum tonight.

 

Came across your thread, read it from the start and more than impressed at the work and effort into it so far, is going to be some machine.

Came to the end of the thread and didnt realise it was a work in progress, was a bit disapointed not to be able to see it finished as was looking forward to it haha

 

An inspiration to get me my first zed

Will be keeping tabs to see how your geting on, keep it up fantastic work. Pleasure to follow the build

thanks for you kind words, am glad you appreciate all the time and effort i have put in its nice for some one to acknowledge it, welcome to the club.

gear box out have a stupid leak buy the main seal its the were the sump meets the main seal so had to get the box out just done in on my own had nuff for today

am going to get rid of the egr while am down here to and plug the manifold,
