I got the Z centre one (basically drift works) Not driven it yet but a solid bit of kit. Only ballache was removing the HICAS balljoints. If your going to get it buy a tool called a pitman arm pulled (there are 2 sizes, buy the larger one) to drift out the balljoint. Had to apply a bit of heat to get it out, but it saves you have to remove the hiv and pressing it out.

get the full kit that way you have no more ball joints to worry about its just fixed all the time i have the same kit

The brace bar just locks out the original system. It still uses the stock arms joints etc. In your case it would solve the immediate issue. However I wouldn't replace the likely worn bushes and arms. So unless you have new hicas bushes etc then you will likely discover sooner or later they need doing. At which point it would have been cheaper and less fuss to do the job properly with the driftworks kit.

Thanks Stephen. I may want your advice actually. I've seen on a few threads where you've re-routed the hicas pipes etc. so might ask you how to do it

No problems mate. I was in the fortunate position though to have the engine out to clear the crap out but still the same principle.

So is it quite an easy job with the engine in? Bearing in mind I'm useless lol. I do have access to ramps though which I can use for free

Sorry mate. Shouldn't be bad. It's only the portions of it that sit in the engine bay that are fiddly. They run across the front subframe and under the aircon compressor. Just cut them up to make removal easier. Check the routes first, you don't want to cut the steering rack ones by accident.

I guess I could look at that after I get the lockout bit sorted. The locking of the back wheels doesn't look too bad of a job. It's just the getting the bushing out I'm a little worried about as It'll no doubt be very stuck.
