Andy mate do those lights have some sort of amber reflector inside ??? can that be removed do you know ??:

 

A writeup is here. Unfortunately the pictures have gone AWOL, but you get the drift. I used the soldering iron method

to reduce the chances of scratching the reflector and housing.

    I'm sorry Lee, i put up because of an availability issue really, not a total bargain but you don't see them that often for sale 2nd hand as well you know :kiss:.

    How is a cup holder any different to a boot, or an ashtray, or a side door pocket, or a glove box, or centre console storage?

     

    If a sports car doesn't have to to somewhat practical, it wouldn't bother with most of those either. It's not a track car, it should be designed for everyday practicality

    I’ tend to agree with you on this one. I use me from time to time cruising and a cup holder for a spot of coffee is idea for my thermos/cup. I’m fabricating cup holders that’ll be hidden in the armrest as i saw on a site last year. I’m not sure it was here on another forum.
