Insured her today and started for the first time in years!

So I shelled out for some insurance today and reconnected the battery after what must be 2.5 years. Unbelievably it started first turn of the key which is amazing. Took it round the block for 10 mins and I didn't break down which was a good start

But day 1 = problem 1 with these cars, it didn't feel like there was any boost under load, the turbo gauge sat just above 0 and didn't move, from memory (it's been a while) this used to swing about all over the place so apart from the obvious 'your turbo is shagged' is there something simple it could be? It was ok before it went into storage and hasn't moved for 5 and a bit years.

Thanks

Check for boost leaks on all the big pipes and check the vac pipe connections on your balace bar. The std gauge isn't much cop anyway.

If you not done anything too her over the 2.5 years Id do a service and check the hoses as Thay may perished

Can't see anything obvious, I knew there was a reason I've been flush for the last 6 years I just couldn't put my finger on why [emoji1]
