Well not quite.

I just got back from a trip in Japan. Didn't manage to spot any z32s but I was lucky enough to ride the Shinkansen, I was quite surprised when I took a photo of the front, look familiar to anyone?

The diablo's headlights are so similar that when you order replacement headlights for it, they come from nissan.

You mean that the Diablo actually uses Z32 headlights, but Lamborghini put a strip across the very top to obscure where it says "Nissan" on the glass... ;)

Yes I just read that, Nissan also used the headlight in the r390 race car.

According to the Diablo owner I meet at the NEC Classic car show Lamborghini have their own stock of new Z32 headlights.

He also mentioned that the carbon fiber strip added by Lamborghini to hide the Nissan logo cost £300 a pair to buy!

Interesting stuff..... I wonder what that white looking strip/packet looking thingy does, in the photo?

Isn't that just the reflection from the outer chrome ring possibly reflecting the ceiling???

Saw that not long ago... Strange that they took the old-style headlights then they did the Diablo facelift in '99.
