Have not been out in my car at night for a while. I came home from the south coast. I forgot how bad the lights were I need to do something to sort them out.

What have you done to yours to make them better?

I was looking at hid kits but there is so many I'm not sure on what ones to get. I have a uk model so no fog lights in the front.

What ones did you get for your dip beam?

I think it was the H6000 Others start to go blue If you don't mind chopping the entry hole a bit you could put CREE in the headlights

Is it eBay buy or can you recommend someone?

Ask Andy (Phutumsch) He's our resident lighting guru, he can probably recommend an ebay link:thumbup1:

I got mine from ebay for about £35, had them a good few years and been great...

Many UK sellers have them now on ebay for less than £20, take your pick but here's the cheapest, you want H3 type bulbs, 55w power with colour between 4300k and 6000k, personally i always go for 5000k.

Don't forget though, are your adjusters all sound ? Ok if they're broken but in the right position !!!

I was just thinking Andy, I should have got you to do my other bulbs in HIDS while you had the lights, which is the bulb in the square part?? High or low beam and what do you recommend I fit?

Thanks

I touched on this with you and said one had blown so i replaced like for like.

They are H1 and HID's are no good here as they are not instant, stock is fine albeit 'yellow' in comparison to the dipped HID, you might want to get yourself some, nightbreaker, xenon, diamond or whatever they are advertised as.

No worries mate, thanks for the info:thumbup:

Give your light's optics a good clean. This is the method I used when I installed an HID kit:

It makes an amazing difference and avoids having to split the headlights. You can also clean the rear of

the projector lens using the same technique. You will need to remove the headlight units from the car.
