Hi guys

Last week I went to drive my Zed (been running it about once a week or so) and thought I could smell petorl when i started it. Once I moved the car a few metres I could see some liquid on the floor but it looked more oily than petrol

Anyway the car is across the local garage and they say the clutch slave cylinder is leaking badly

I had a look on ebay and can find a variety of prices, from used original ones in 'good condition' from Banzai Breakers for £20 to new ones for about £45 but I am also finding these ones which say they fit the car

TRW Clutch Slave Cylinder Nissan Terrano II 2.7 TD TDi 4WD 3.0 Di 4WD OE Spec

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TRW-Clutch-Slave-Cylinder-Nissan-Terrano-II-2-7-TD-TDi-4WD-3-0-Di-4WD-OE-Spec-/131616224796?fits=Model%3A300+ZX&hash=item1ea4f0361c:g:K9cAAOSwLVZV0zhh

And they are just £16.99 inc postage

Can anyone advise what I should get?

Cheers

Rich

Oh just to mention - the fluid wasn't on the floor as I posted, it was on the road under where the car was parked

Looks the right one by the picture, I'd take a chance, I bought one of ebay recently and it was only cheap.

Its easy enough to compare by looking under the car when it comes.

Speak to Jimmer, afaik, the clutch slave in our cars is not exclusive - I forget which one he says fits.

Anyway, I would never waste time with a used part like that IMO.
