Unless you're doing something wrong, then does it matter? People aren't going to make notes on something that isn't happening. I have far more going on in my life to worry about, but that's just me. Doesn't concern me. I get watched a lot anyway I'm sure as I do a lot of international travel, especially to and from the United States (including specialist transit visas etc), I also worked for the Ministry of Defence on a secure site for a number of years and have signed the official secrets act. I am sure the governments know more about me than I do!

having a few cctv cams up in town is great no issues with that atall, but keeping your history fora year its just a step to far con men will be on to this the wrong people will get hold of it you have to be able to move with out being watch 24,7 whats next in say 500 years chips put in us to see what were go what time we get up when we eat shit etc its just a prelude to a bigger picture if you let stuff like this in more and more stuff will come lets have cctv in are homes so we cane be watched to lol

Well after the terrible affairs in Paris how could anyone say the street cams ect are a step backwards...Anyone just living a normal life and not up to anti-social behaviour has nothing to fear from being "kept an eye on". It could be the guy standing next to you on the tube or bus thats getting watched while he primes his bomb belt for the next hidious attack and maybe so called lack of libertys can save your and your familys life in the next decade or so..The world has changed and the simple innocent way of life that we all had has now gone forever:no:.

I for one am glad that we're the most highly monitored country in Europe after seeing the attacks in Paris. The more people there are watching those who wish to organise and elicit these hideous crimes, the more chance we have of attempts being foiled. By virtue of the high amount of surveillance in this country, 7 large-scale attacks have already been foiled.

 

This has nothing to do with people's freedom, it has to do with the nation's safety.
