I have been waiting for the 300 to get a review, for the last two or three videos he has put up I have seen the 300 parked in the background so I thought it was coming. I'm about to watch it now

yes he had done most cars he needs to do a tt now

Those LS swaps are so good, however with the cost over here it's just not practical. You could have a very good VG for the money an ok LS would cost.

if you watch the whole vid you can hear him saying the vg engine is unreliable and costs $10.000 to rebuild,

Which is untrue. You can defiantly rebuild a VG30 for less than £7.5k

I would love to do a V8 conversion, but as said the cost in comparison is quite high and apart from the sound, the VG is actually a great engine and cheaper in the long run to rebuild. Also there is an abundance of V8's over there compared to the UK

think i would keep the turbo me self

I have a huge information Folder on my laptop relating to doing an LS swap.

Gathered from all around the international forums, including looking into prices and where to get all the parts from (including using the Z32 5 speed box).

The only reason I even contemplated doing this is because I have an NA. If my car was a TT, I wouldn't consider it as a VG30 is a damn good engine and like any other if looked after and modified sympathetically it will serve you well.

But a TT into an NA just isn't worth the hassle in my opinion, hence the investigations into an LS swap.

I still toy with the idea, but in all honesty it would mean my Zed being off the road for at least 3 years due to lack of free time. As such, it'll remain a pipe dream.

For those who are curious - I added up to £12k in parts alone. But that did include buying a lot of off the shelve conversion parts rather than *******ising my own.

That number obviously varies depending on the age/mileage of the LSx you use.

Zed #2: 1998 Midnight Purple 2+2 NA. (owned 2020 - now)

Zed #1: 1995 Blue Slicktop NA (2013-2015)
