My friends i did not set out to annoy only to find in my soul if i could part with the most beautifull car i ever owned, i hoped to find some answers and i have in many ways, but i apologise in the biggest way possible that i might have in some way accidentaly had anything to do with anyone ever using the "V" word on this site, and i hope you all get over it soon

Ah...I get it....snobs are we?

Allow me to apologise for uttering such a vile blashphemance

Just used the word to give a frame of reference...

so I guess that Mondeo, Astra or Clio are expletives too?

Someone wanna send me a dictionary of car models we ARE allowed to use the names of?

what an ignorant comment

hey, if your gonna quote me then at least put the smilie on the end of my statement that i used! :p :p :p

Paul Newman had a dig at high running costs for a TT, I had a dig back for lack of performance. lighten up  jeesh!

but while were on the subject (& all imho) I also dont know why they made a 1.3 capri, reliant robins, sinclair c5's, tinned peaches or squeezy cheese.

& if they made a 4 cyl Lambo, that would prob appeal to a wider market as well, but should they make one?? hell no (again imo)

i dont think im ignorant just for having an opinion, especially when as i said it, it was light hearted fun anyway. :D

The normally aspirated version of the VG30 engine is tunable up to approx 400bhp! But in this form it is only really drivable on a track and not reliable enough for general use.

Nissan turbo'ed the engine because it was fashionable at the time and a relatively cheap/reliable/easy power upgrade.

The NA Z32"sports coupe" still produces as much power as a new BMW 330i Coupe! Not bad for a 13 year old design.

Relatively speaking...In stock form, the TT "supercar" model isn't very powerful for what is a 3.0 litre twin cam 24V twin turbo motor!

Technology has moved on and other manufacturers can now produce similar or higher figures using normally aspirated engines. That's why TT owners need to "chip" their cars to keep up with other models in the same target market. After all, your cars weren't designed to race against V6 Vectras and souped up saloons and hatchbacks! :D

thats cos it was de-tuned to keep to the agreed 280bhp jap limit ;)

LOL .... Believe it or not, I used gran turismo to narrow down my choices for my last 2 cars :D I think i'll put my own geek hat on and give the Z a try tonight :D

How ?

Drill a hole underneath and into Fort Knox and just help yourself.

Drill a hole underneath and into Fort Knox and just help yourself.

Or set up as a mechanic specialising in 300ZXs!:D :D

Especially for those people attempting to obtain 1000bhp!! :p

Well At least it's safe to post again. I was thinking that if I said anything it would be taken the wrong way and the moderators would have to move this thread to fight club.

So, in short.. Are we all happy with the Z we have regardless of engine, colour or transmition ???.

I hope so, because there seems to be far to many arguments starting in this forum recently regardless of who started them.

It's Christmas, the season to be Jolly. I know it's a hard time of the year because the job market is dead, job losses are looming over our heads, then we have the Christmas presents to worry about.

But at the end of the day we own one of the most exciting cars the good old Japanese ever built (IMO). So lets all be merry.

Lets all post a smile if we are happy.

Heres mine .... :D

dunno, me mate went on it for 3 days and emerged with 1000.000.000 credits and all the cars!! bargain

Perhaps the festive stress is getting the better of us all

But for my part, my wife loves me, the business is doing great and I love my Zed!

So here`s my smile too

:D

Hey Gavo, I might be up at PPS in Sunderland in the next week or 2 if you fancy a blast in a modded TT :D

Or ask Paul G force who must be near you - he'll show you how much more your rear wheels can spin! :D
