....As title guys & Gals.....

Whilst JAE 2015 was still a success; there does, apparently, remain room for improvement. Naturally the new venue had influence, but this year we really missed the hands-on involvement that only a dedicated National Events Organiser can give. Last year Vodkashots presided over his final JAE at Wickstead - and unfortunately this year Lexx had to stand down long before JAE owing to personal commitments.

So it is with hope in my heart that I endeavour to appeal to you all...... By canvassing our fine members to find someone willing to step up as the club's new NEO - in order that we may plan and stage bigger, better, national events in the future!

If anyone fancies the challenge, please drop me a PM.....

Cheers folks; and thanks in advance for your support!

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Potentially I could consider this - however, timing is no good at the moment and couldn't commit until possibly the middle half of next year. I know that does you no good now, but should the situation be the same by then, I would be in a position to consider this.

If I lived on the wonderful Island that is the UK, I would consider this, but it is not practical. However I did say to Gary that I would willingly organise JAE next year, while we had a good number of cars and great people our stand and the effort put in to it was dismal to say the least. No blame on anybody, I had met Lexx at LakeZ so understand totally. the NEO position is a big committment for anybody to take on.

I couldn't commit myself to this either. I've been slightly slacker than I would have like this years with REO duties without further NEO works. Unfortunately work is getting steadily busier and with family planning hopes its just something couldn't attend to properly.

Shagging takes up that much of your time? :wack: ;)

I could be interested in making jae stand bigger and better, i did offer a few times before to do this. However it would depend when it is, the last two i've had to work the friday / saturday

Mark & I spoke about organising various things last year but time was the main factor. He's quite heavily involved with the STOC club, so he could be the man for the job.

There is quite a nice setup in Nottingham for a fairly centrally-located Z32 HQ of sorts. Zed Centre, Automodz, CJ and myself all within spitting distance of one another

JAE is just one show in the calendar but it is a big show for us. I know some people were disappointed in the organizing of it this year but as Richard has said having no NEO leaves the Committee struggling to get it up and running, In the Committee we are all very busy with the jobs we have so dont be to sore on us if we struggle with extra work :) Living in Belfast I was still able to organize the Marque. tables. chairs, power, BBQ, coolbox and keep three threads running on three Z forums. Craig was able to go to the on site JAE meeting and bring the large banners to Jaikai so he could take them with him to JAE and set up our site. Andy paid all the bills but we still struggled on the finer points. If I or any other member of the Committee lived near JAE then we could of made it a better show. In the end I pmed Tulip and Bird to help out as they were on site on Thursday and they seen were we fell short. Trish and her sisters did us proud buying in the food and helping out were ever they could (thank you Trish) and Bird.... well he was there also to help. (just joking mate and I appreciate your quick response to my pm and your offer to help)

So next year we want to make it a good year for shows and we need your help JAE can be very hands on and living near the venue would be a big help but still possible from anywhere in the UK and Ireland. When Trish said about organizing JAE next year I was all for it and Arkwright was with us (Derrek from Zclub) who said he could go to the meetings which would give imput from more than our club.

But we still need an NEO and it needs to be a member with time and commitment for the job.

please don't count me in. I don't want to commit myself to something I can't guarantee my full commitment to. Sorry.

No prob Derek.... A lot can certainly happen in a year - primarily we're looking for a new NEO. Any other help in organising JAE 2016 shall be discussed and agreed nearer the time!

Ahh, don't mention it Gaz - the real heroes there are those prepared to sacrifice 4 days to have their cars on the stand.... And be there for the duration to man the stand and represent the club!

Let's have a group effort for JAE next year many hands make light work and all that. Dicky96 our other esteemed NW REO is a sound and light specialist and DJ so sound system and lasers etc could easily be sorted.

I will help out where ever needed if I can.
