Yes, you heard it here first! I've been umming and arrrrring over my spoiler for quite a few months now and I have come to the stark realisation that I really do want a change from my 99-spec. It won't happen until next year, but the choice in spoiler I've gone for is a TwinZ Type 1, the very same as JoelyP's. I've totally fallen in love with it after viewing Joel's car out on the open road for many hours at every conceivable angle! I also think I am going to get some MeisterR coilovers so that I can mess about with the rear ride height a little more as it just doesn't sit quite how I'd like it.

I said I was finished with bodywork - but nope, I really want a change!

Any possibility of finding a second one do you think?

I would really like an OEM one also.

There might be one in a nissan warehouse somewhere... phoenix...

Possibly. It might be the last genuine one out there! It's around £430! I'll ask when I collect it. It's listed NLS in the US by the way.

Appreciated mate! Thanks. :thumbup1:

You were lucky to find a new oem 89 spec Si. Did Andrew get one also?

Yep

Yup, a couple found their way into the country somehow.

Nearly £500 ouch, I'd value my zed at about a grand so I don't think I could pay that bigger premium for a genuine article.

That's really cheap though, especially considering how rare it must be now. I think CZP have just delisted the final edition spoiler and that was about twice the cost.

This is it, quality and fitment are paramount to me. Having seen AndrewG's new OEM spoiler, the fit and finish are sublime, nothing you get from a fibreglass replica. You can get replicas for £100, but I've rarely seen one that fits as well as an original, some are better than others, they feel totally different too. I'm done with aftermarket plastics and exterior body trim.

Should you really expect anything else from an OEM part though...?

No, of course not, but having only recently been made aware of a genuine new one floating about, it wasn't always an option!!
