Hiya chaps. Hoping someone can help me out again. My odometer has recently stopped working on my clocks, the trip meter has gone all wonky so I assume that's something to do with it? It's a jap import and it's had the conversion to mph.

If I buy some UK clocks will they just work? Or do I need to buy jap clocks? Also I understand there are switches on the back of the clocks that might need.. Switching? Any help greatly appreciated.

You just need to get right series clocks

Cheers. If the car's a jap and has been converted do I have to reverse the conversion if I put UK clocks in or leave it as it is? When u say series are you referring to TT or NA?

Thanks

Oli

You dont need the convertor with UK clocks, all UK clocks are TT and will work in an NA or TT series 1 and 2.

If the speed signal has been cut and joined for the convertor yellow/green IIRC then that one needs to be re joined, it would have been the only wire to be touched from the plug.

As Groover says your car needs to be a Series 1 or 2. If it's a Series 4 or later (1996 onwards I think) UK clocks won't fit. No idea about Series 3 but somebody on here will!
