Just been to see an old family friend who has had his zed for years but this is the first time I'd ever seen it. He told me he's thinking of selling it as it doesn't get used, done 50miles since October. It's a TT auto, paintwork looks slightly tired but mechanically sound & solid body. He used to work on these when he worked for nissan as a mechanic so he knows what he's doing. Nissan actually gave him a brand new one for the weekend & told him to put 2000 miles on it so he drove it to Scotland. It's only done 46k miles, got an impul rear bumper & skirts, genuine split rim bbs alloys. Interior is really clean, like new. Will put a few pictures up in a bit. He's in two minds whether to sell it or not cus he does love it but just doesn't have time for it. Roughly how much should he be asking for it?

It's usually just for subscribed members to sell there own cars Tom but if you can take full responsibility for the sale and you are a long and trusted member here I would say yes on this one mate. By the way thats a great find  Plus it would be nice to see a club member get it.

Thanks Gary. I've asked him for all the paperwork so I'll put a detailed for sale thread up & take full responsibility for it. It is a great find & he wants it to go to someone who will enjoy & use it as he doesn't get the chance to.

For me the main factor in value on this would be the condition of the underside/sills. If it's in good condition I don't think 4-5k would be too much. If it needs sills etc I would guess half that.

It is solid underneath, it hasn't been under sealed though so think that would be a job for the new owner. Goin tomorrow to take a few more pictures & get all the old receipts.

Just been to see this again. It looked even better now it's washed & pulled out the drive. Gonna put a proper for sale thread up soon but think the price will be £4,750. He's in no rush to sell.
