Pretty sure my Oil PSU is on its way out giving me dodgy readings.

i have purchased a new one. and a 52mm gauge to put in a pod. correct size psu.

i was told is next to the oil filter on the drivers side.

so i jacked the car up. found the oil filter and for love nor money could i find the psu.

my engine is a JDM spec engine

has any one got any pictures of were this little sod is ?

thank you for the advice.

Pressure sender is next to the filter tree on LHD cars, so that's it entails where the mix up came about. On a RHD car it's on the passenger side behind the aircon compressor. You will see it hanging down, by the engine mount. You will need a 17mm spanner. Pull the gaiter back then unclip the connection. The sender then screws out. There's a nut shape at the top to allow you to undo it. You may find it quite tight as a small quantity of RTV is used to seal the thread.

JFYI my current Zed had an aftermarket pattern part PSU fitted by the previous owner and that still gave incorrect readings.

Changed it out for an OEM unit, job done gauge reads correctly and quickly.

Be careful if using pattern parts.
