Hi all,

 

Just been thinking about buying another dash board and having it covered in leather! I've never removed one before is it a lot of work to remove?

 

Also how much am I expected to pay for a good condition dash board?

Two people to remove the dash at the end makes life easier but I did mine myself

Yep not a biggie, and I've done this by myself too.

Swapped mine last weekend within an hour. It's fairly straight forward.

Thanks everyone I really should of thought ahead with this as I've only just put back all the interior except the main dash when I sound proof the car!

Need to find a decent dash now for upholstery :)

Other members have covered the removal process, so my comment is in relation to recovering the dash in leather.

Forget about it!

You would be much better off finding a dash in good condition & changing them over.

When you're looking for a replacement don't just look for imperfections in the visible surface area, also look for broken & cracked mounts.

Have you had your dash covered before? My dash is ok in the car just wanted to revamp it.

What problems did you have?

My response is based on what I have seen in other Z32's & they never looked right.
