No, it's definitely not just you. You go through stages, no one single thing breaks. Was that a new turbo?

That was about to be my next question. Just goes to show though you do get iffy ones, even garrett ones occasionally. It sucks but at least it's just a failed seal, imagine if it had gone pop. Look on the bright side and all. Equally it's better it happen in the right hands than at a later date. No doubt jimmer will sort it out.

Steve try and stick with it mate high performance cars with mods are very temperamental plus you have had bad luck thrown in. I would love to see you enjoying a Z again so keep the faith mate.:clover:

I agree with the above.....

....Hang in there with it Steve; you're almost there mate....:clover:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

If you go back to the beginning of my threads from 2005 onwards and go through every thread, you'll see that I've had one hell of a time with my Z, from timing belts snapping, to muppets messing up an oil change, to Rip-Off merchants selling boxes of newspaper etc. I've had some really hard times Steve, I stood back for a bit and took a break from it, but here I am, back again with as much passion as I had the first day I went looking for one of these cars!

Don't let it get you down mate, these cars are for your enjoyment, that's what they were built for and nothing else... To be able to get into and go for a drive to get your mind off the daily grudge that is life, they're a hobby / pastime for you to enjoy. You will overcome the obstacles the car and others have thrown up to you and when that day comes, you'll be soooo happy you stuck at it!! Only today, one of the guys at work asked if I still had my Z and would I sell it, as he regretted selling his 6-7 years ago!! Even look how many old club members come back on here looking to buy a Z as they regretted selling theirs also. KEEP THE CHIN UP, there's always plenty of support on here:thumbup1::thumbup1:

thanks very much for the support, i have decided to have the tub refurbed luckily its only the drivers side and can be removed without the cost of an engine out job ...again...! still going to be a painfull 700- 800 quid though for the refurb then jimers time on top of that ...i think i just need to get my ass in a zed seat again to know what im missing ..as its all a very distant memory ...last time i drove it was to go to Lakez after the zedworld build that failed shortly after destroying the bottom end ....ho hum ..no doubt Jimmer will sort it he knows im desperate to get the zed back

I came back to a Z after 10 years after selling mine!

I do love the Z but like us all we enjoy & hope things do not brake!
