Selling black metallic jap import 300zx.Z32. Auto targa..

Bought it only a few weeks ago and was looking for a really clean one. This one has a few rusty bits needing attention to bring it back to 100% but appears to be mechanically sound.

Full Mot, everything works including all electrics.

Just requires some tlc and time spent to get her up to scratch. Lovely looking car and sounds amazing with the single exit pipe.

Decat stainless 3" exhaust, alloys could do with paint stripping as the previous moron used a brush on them? Don't ask why.

Worth a look anyway if ur after a usable car.

Chipped ecu, some upgrades done.

Car used to belong to club member tomomontana, so history available if needed.

Big folder full of receipts and history with some useful tech info in there too. Original flare from Japan and owners handbook also. Interior is clean bit could also do with some loose bits tightening..all in all its a good car just needs tlc to be great again..

Offers around £3000 but will consider an offer near to it for club members.

Advertised on ebay at present time.

Any info or interest please call me on 07900887433

Cheers..

Paul (nemesiZX)

Let's not forget...

The aerial and rear wiper have been removed.

The rear inner and out sills have been replaced.

The spoiler has been replaced with a fibreglass replacement.

The rear lights lights have all been replaced with custom clear phutumsch 99 spec style.

Fitted with original impul skirts.

Dash pods have white led conversion done by groover.

Discs have been replaced with drilled and grooved all round.

I'm sure there was more that I did but can't remember off the top of my head.

Why buy it & sell it within weeks as its past owner is a forum member?

Is it not what u wanted in the first place?

It looks a tidy Z?

Well, in answer to your question art, it isn't a bad z. It just has more to do on it than I really wanted to get involved in. I don't have a garage, any work needing doing would be done on the driveway and to be honest, I wanted a car that hadn't started rusting already..

I did plan to keep her until I found the H plate one I just brought back from Aberdeen on Saturday. She is immaculate. Needs nothing except taking good care of.. If u saw it, you'd understand what I mean..

If u look at my photos on my page you'll see. But i dont think the photos actually show how clean it is. Even the underside is clean enough to eat off..

So now I've got the red car, I'd rather let someone who has the will and determination not forgetting the garage space to get the black beast back to glory.. I mean there's nothing stopping it from being driven as is, but the work that tomomontana put in to her, deserves her going to a home that's gonna have the time and space to get her up to scratch again..

I'm glad I bought the car, cos at least I rescued it from going down the pan, but sadly, its a little more than I wanted to take on given the lack of facilities I have..

Wax and Polish and a service schedule.. That's the sort of facilities I have available..

The red z is the one for me.. Gotta say tho, the black one goes like a ballistic missile! Shows what an ecu chip and a remap can do huh!?

If you've found a super clean one. Please go through and check the targa drains etc and get it all re under sealed and the cavities waxed. Esp if it lives outside.

I was told not to underseal as it can trap moisture in the seal and rot it. Is that bad advice? I know waxoyl always seemed like a good idea but ive heard some horror stories about it..

Well all the manufactures underseal the cars from factory...even these ones. I think the main error is sealing already rusty damp bits in.

These are the rusty bits about the car, the photos in the first post and this one are all the bits I can find other than a few run of the mill patchy bits on the underside.

So you can see exactly what your buying if you want it. The work I had a quote from a classic car restorer and he wanted £1600 including vat for all the rust removal and colour matched paint finish..

So it's not going to cost an arm and a leg to restore it especially if u have the time and skill to prep the jobs yourself.

It would only require some time and a few quid to paint..

All in all she's a good car.. I'm going to get a YouTube video up and post a link to it so you can hear the engine etc.

Give u a better idea of the overall condition..

But I'm sure a club member would be able to make a really good job of this car..

For the money, and I'm losing over £600 on it at the price asked, it's a great little project..

So, if u want it, or want to come take a look.. Call or pm me.

Unable to post more photos here as the post limit Is 5. I'll add all the photos to my photo album..

In answer to your other question art, I didn't buy it from the former z club member that owned it, I bought it from the mullet he sold it to.. Unfortunately as with a lot of dreamers, they buy these and then soon realise they require more than just fuel and servicing.. When tomomontana sold the car to him, it was a very very nice example. Well cared for, but it has been neglected a Little over the last 18 months so it's took a turn downward.. Like I said, on glad I bought it cos I'll only sell to a good home, even if I get a divorce over it first!

I'm about to get the youtube video sorted so give it a couple of hours and I'll post a link to it here..
