Thanks for the input dutchgold, are there any websites from reputable car dealers in Japan. I guess the shipping costs would be included in the final price. I will consider this option if tomorrows 300ZX viewing in Bedford is a no.

My shorty is an import and is a great car (although in fairness seatbelts on my door made me look pretty stupid when I tried the open the door to park close to the kerb move :laugh:)

I'd highly recommend JDMAuctionWatch. Based in Dublin but they can get cars to the UK. Also the only agent over here that allows you to view auction data for yourself!

There are still some out there mines a 91 uk with 76k on it ,she still looks pretty,

always said if someone offered me a silly price I would let it go

Very tasty car sdriver, looks fab and good low mileage, is that an auto or manual? how long have you owned her ? any mods.

Few years now ,she's always been well looked after ,manual twin turbo ,only mods are ss mongoose cat back 19 " wheels and centre nose ,still have the standard wheels and nose panel,

changed the rear lights to crystal ,double din touch screen dvd player ,also has the fibre glass spoiler so no more cracking

124k miles sounds high - but in reality, it's not bad for a 1991 car - that's less than 5200 miles PA...:wink:

 

Forget mileage on such an old car; buy on condition - and on what has been replaced and/or updated over the years. Good luck in your search,

Thanks Richard, I did call the advert owner for this one who is in Londonderry and a nice guy, though the car has had issues with rust etc and vibrating brakes. Rust always a worry and welcome feedback on rust proofing these cars for the future and purchasing upgraded brakes. Anything else to look out for mechanically or cosmetically ?

 

Do the targa tops leak or are they generally well engineered. ?

 

Appreciate any feedback.
