am doing some fettling around the fuel filter area and was wondering if there is any other type of fuel filter i can fit rather than the standard one i got at moment seen some pics of others somewhere but cant find em thanks.

so no one else in the Z community has thought about replacing the standard fuel filter with something aftermarket! then the standard one must be excellent or i could be breaking new ground! lol

Unless you're going big power, the stock filter is very good. Just replace it with a new one.

I know a few other jap performance cars when they upgrade the fuel filter they will look to the 300zx filter as it's very very good. So I think I'd stick with what others say, just replace it with a new stock one.
