Hi. Right since ive had my car the speedo doesnt work. Si ive tried replacing the kilometer per hour to miles per hour little of box thing. Still nothing and still everything works apart from the speedo.

So next thing i done was to borrow a speedo cluster from eggs on the forume who assured me that his works. So pluged it in to confirm this.and hey ho. His now doese the exactly the same thing as mine .everything works apart from the speedo.

 

My question is whats my next move.is it to buy a speedo converter thing that plugs into gearbox my car is a jap 1990 manual twin turbo. If it is has anyone got one that works for sale.or my next trip out is going to be a nissan dealer.

Or and is there any other possible thing that could go wrong.

Check the Speedo Drive unit on the gearbox is OK

As above the speed sensor on the gearbox is not sending a signal to the speedo.

Yer i checked that when the car was last up in the air when it was mot. Looked ok and tight. Maybe just cream crackerd.

Going to need a secound hand one as i want it fixed now and dont want to pay silly money and wait for two months for one

Anyone got one lying around its for a 1990 tt manual i need one .
