I'm now 12 years old, so only drive my Z TT on track days, but I've had it from new, and as it's a '91, that means I got it when I was born! The insurance is a bit steep, but the targa roof comes in handy cos I have such a big head!

Seriously though, what sort of insurance are all you teenagers paying on your Zeds?

that is the only good thing about getting old.....cheaper insurance......but to say that its a bargain would be a lie.....most would pay the extra again just to say yes i am 21 and i do own a twin turbo?......hop on baby!!........

any way i am 32 this year and am on my second zed..

God, I seem to be one of the young ones at 37.

Wife's company car forces me to spend 2 cars worth of dosh on 1 car.

God I feel ancient, just bought my first Z aged 40 91 jap tt, ooh it is nice though and quicker than me 4x4 was the other good thing about being old is insurance is under £500

but i dont think it should count as the cars been off the road for longer than ive actually driven it :(

LOL 0 years old? Luxury!! I got mine 2 years before I was born ;) :D

 

I consider myself a young'un, insurance justrenewed to £1,800, from £2,400ish :eek:

I've just turned 22. Smallest engine size i've ever owned has been a 2ltr turbo!

oh and because i've been a really good boy all my life and never speeded or done anything bad ever(apart from one small 35mph in a 30 zone) i only(?) pay £1200 insurance.

Whos been paying for that for you?

i've paid for it all myself. Been quite lucky in getting really good jobs since i left school.

who do you get insurance with then Stuey? Is that polocy in you name, or are you but a named driver?

i'm insured with tesco at the moment.I've always been on my own insurance cos my dad wouldn't let me on his. I've got almost five years N/C, advanced driving certificate and a racing licence. The cars i've had have been a Mitsubishi Starion, Toymota GT4 (Briefly) and my Z. I'm tempted to get either a Evo 5 or 6 or a R33 GTR as a project car before christmas but i'm not sure if anyone will insure me.

What you do for a job. Pimp? Drug dealer? ;)

i wish....i'm now a service engineer, but until recently i was a research and development engineer.

Im 28, just got it. twin turbo manual targa. Not bad so far.

I'm not saying how old I am, but have to admit that so far everyone is younger than me!!

The wife thinks I must be going through a mid life crisis to have one, just call me Grandpa!
