I have only had my zed a couple of months so I am pretty keen in driving it wherever I can.

Why is it wherever I park it some B*****D opens they're door onto it leaving either a scratch, chip or if I'm really lucky a small dent. This is really starting to P*** me off. I even park it dead centre of a bay miles from any other car, come back and someones usually left their mark on it.

How much little respect can you have for this car!!!!!!!!!

No I am not going to resort to sticking some Ford Focus protective side strips to my Z- life will never be that bad.

Just thought I would share my Sunday afternoon thoughts with you.

Coz generally speaking, people are totally self-centered brain dead idiots, with not a single thought going on in their heads and no respect for either their own property and especially not for others! :(

Another one to add to the list of things that piss you off......

Agree with you totally there Andrew,

I've got a couple of small(shopping trolley)dents or whatever they want to call them. Some people just dont give a toss!

Same as you I'll deliberately park my car away from other cars in large carparks only to find some tw*t parked right next to mine, with not enough room to put a ciggarette paper between them.

AAAARGH!!!!

F.T.

Bummer - maybe it's a Swansea thing?

Got to the Eisteddfod and been to Cardiff twice since then and so far (fingers firmly crossed) no probs.

Perhaps Bob can get you one of those proximity alarms which says "Move away from the car" at very high volume.

But still - quite clearly you have better taste and higher intelligence than the lowlifes who drive bourgemobiles. Which I hope is a consolation.

May your Zed be ding-free from now on - Gio

I never ever park in between cars anymore in car parks, I go round and round and round till I find a space on an end or I drive out. People just don't care, they've even done it while I've been IN the car still, fkin ar5eholes.

Well I can't fit in small gaps:D you see having a fat arse does have It's advantages;)

Very nice! quad lamp conversion maybe one day?

nice and fat-just how we like it! but not the chics.

LOL No James I hurt my hand at work,so I am not strong like bull at the mo;)

I had this once in a car park...I was taking someone else into town and they'd nipped into the shop, whilst I sat in the Zed waiting for them. Unfortunately I did have to park next to another car...

Imagine my annoyance then, when owner of said car came back and decided that there wasn't enough room to swing his car door fully open....so proceeded to bang his door on my wing mirror  until I knocked on the window, started the ignition

and wound it down. He looked most shocked as he didn't realise there was anyone in the car.

Fortunately there wasn't any damage but I treated him to a few choice words...

I've had 1 minor door ding in 8 years and mines a daily driver - only car. i suggest you always park your car on the end of a row -, or in bigger spaces or at the back of a supermarket carpark where no-one else wants to go.

It works.

Jez.

Perhaps the people in High Wycombe are more considerate!?

A couple of extra seconds walk in the Tesco's car park does do the trick.

I had this happen to me too, came across a big fat git leaning into is micro van and marking my car with his open door. I pushed him so hard he fell into the floor well on the passenger side, head first, and looked like he was well and truly stuck. And then I took his keys from the ignition and threw them over the hedge. Mark

Just do what my missus does, park in between 2 spaces!! Get that white line cock on the centre of your car and leave it there! Admittely she does have the excuse that she has our 9 week old son to get in and out so needs the room to open the doors, but nonetheless no one has parked close to her yet!

Nick

I pretend to work, they pretend to pay me!

Good advice.

That's exactly what I did do the other day. Drove into a car park, saw 2 spaces together and thought "Now scratch my car you B******S"

I thought the Zed looked pretty good taking up 2 spaces. Perhaps this could be a new trend!!!!!!!!!!

Or perhaps I should become the former member of the Royal Society and provention of cruelty to Z's (RSPCZ)!!!!!!!!

Dunno man, I'm not convinced on the "2 spaces" thing. I reckon this might lead to some knob keying it just cos you've taken up 2 spaces! thinking "who the f*ck does he think HE is!"

Yeh Probably.

That would be the icing on the cake !!!!!!!!!!

Am I glad I dont live down sarf, if thats what the rotten phookers do to your motor!

I agree, 2 space hogs = C*nt IMO.

Bit harsh that:mad:

Was only a suggestion. Besides if it saves damage to the car then what do you care what others think?????

The real problem with this is of course, you will look like a **** towards everyone else, especially when the parking lot is full.

And then youll get some tit deliberatelly park close up next to you.

Its the same as people parking in the disabled spot.

I always park as far away from the enterence as i can, and also next to a pavement, that way the chances of anything happening are at least halved, as only one car can park next to you.

It might well be harsh, but you are far far more likely to attract malicious damage, esp when someone wants to park only to find some twat has parked over two spaces.

Do you pay twice for 2 parking spaces? I doubt it!

Jezz

Dont get me wrong, we dont take up 2 spaces if parking is tight, but the car parks we visit are huge and theres usually loads of room. We only double park out of the way of others so as not to annoy them. In a pay and display (not that we use them cos they are run by robbing ba##ards), then we park on the top floor outta the way and usually these places have baby parking so its not a problem. And it doesnt appear that we have the malicious sorts of people round our way that go out and do this to your car.

OK So the 2 car space idea doesn't go down well eh!!!

Could try the rottweiler on the back seat approach. Not good for the upholstery though.
