Ah, Father Ted.....

You're not.wrong mate.

Agreed - on both counts....

And just to add - this is the personal opinion of a couple of individuals; we may be committee / moderators, but in no way do our personal views reflect the views of the forum!

Richard

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

It's not new news, it's just someone's pinned the buggers. Good on them. It does have to be said though if we went round investigating the wealthy I doubt you'd find many that were beyond a little creative accounting methods.

I think sepp blatter is the right man for the job and any who disagrees obviously hasn't seen my new rolex

For selfish commercial reasons, I doubt sponsors will pull the plug, at least not there liked of coke and nike who make a fortune out of FIFA. But the banks that back then may have to think twice. Dodgy dealings and financial supporters may not be far apart these days, but in the eyes of the public they make very poor bedfellows.

What is amazing is the lack of candidates to run for these elections, Blatter was going to retire last time round, but still stood and one asked now he's here again with the opportunity to cover his trail from within, before the feds get him.

It's not the only corrupt committee on the world stage. The IOC has long been in the frame for financial buns although they have probably routed that out, however it won't be long before the European commission had a look at F1... Now that's another can of worms!!

whether he is the right man for the job or not he won the vote

And do you really thing the football world care about what a tiny little island says about things

FA complain that the world cup should not be held in our winter time as it will disrupt our league fixtures

What does the rest of the football world care as it does not effect them or their fixture lists as the amost all have a winter break

And as for federations pulling out of the world cup en mass I will believe it when I see it

don't get me wrong I detest Blatter and what he has allowed and has not had the balls to resign but it will just carry on exactly the same

He had the chance to go with some Grace, but belligerent and delusional of his own power he had to seek re-election...now he can reside in the annuls of History as being divisive and corrupt as seemingly a sizable collective of the FIFA committee have appeared to be.

I think he knows the FBI are going to come knocking and doesn't want to have to explain away his situation in the full public glare of office. Good riddance he is now as discredited as the game itself.

Well I hope all the effing do gooders are proud of them selves

I was waiting for a package through the post and suppose it will not arrive now

Sod the bloody lot of you WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU ALL

You have spoilt it all for a fellow Z enthusiast and now will not be able to buy Paul Newmans 280zx that was up for sale

Thanks a bunch
