Hi guys as some of you know for the last 6 years ive been employed as an assistant manager for a mobility company selling scooters and wheelchairs and such!

2 weeks ago my friend and I were just genrerally chatting about work and he mentioned about how manic they have been because they are understaffed at garage he works in, so I jokingly said that they should employ me and left it at that!!

The following day I recieved a phone call from him asking if I was serious about moving jobs and that would i drop down a c.v so he could flash it under his bosses nose!

Of course I ummed and arrred, spoke to the Mrs and then came to a descision that I would write up a c.v as nothing would be lost!

Last Thursday I recieved another phone call from my friends boss asking if I would like to come down for a chat, So I agreed to come down last Saturday for a chat he asked what I had done since college and why wasnt I in the car trade ect ect he then turned round and asked if I could do a trial day that same saturday which I did I got stuck straight in and did all the tasks thrown at me at the end of the day he pulled me to one side and straight out offered me a full time wage plus the opertunity to go and complete my level 2 which I didnt at 17-18 years old and then put in for my m.o.t testers certificate too!!

Opportunitys like this for a 31 year old dont come along like this very often so I grabbed his offer by the horns and today I start my first day of what could finally be a proper career :)

Just wanted to share my news with you all because im so excited and proud to be offered this at my age sorry I dragged it out a little I thought I would try and share lol ?
