Ok I bought some XXR 522 alloys for the zed, 18" 114.3 et28 9.5j all good right? Well my nuts don't fit...

My originals were too small and I couldn't get a socket on the nut so I bought some D1 tuner nuts,they don't even fit in the wheel nut recess as they're too wide.

What can I do to make these fit or can I not?

Looks like you need nuts from XXR themselves. Looking on ebay USA they list XXR lug nuts and they are splined with a special tool to install them, probably because they are thinner that a std hex lug nut.

Wanted this on the road next week, hopefully jap performance parts near me have some similar ones on the shelf, my locking nuts fit them but none of the others.

Should probably get some extended studs too...

Found a company that does them next day in this country phew...

I could turn down those D1 nuts to fit the bore of the XXRs (assuming there is enough material left afterwards).

 

My Blitz wheels have small diameter recesses and I use:

 

M12 x 1,25 - 20 NUTS/SET WITH WHEEL LOCKS 13/16 MM PART NUMBER 65554

you need internal drive nuts ;)

Or some wheels take a 17mm socket size with a thin wall socket,

instead of the original 21mm socket size,

 

Or they do tuner bolts not sure if you can buy tuner nuts,
