I am back in the USA and it is Thanksgiving Holiday, so thanks to all of you for everything over the last few years.

It's a quiet day at work for me today with all your guys on holiday !

Seems like this is a massive event over there - flew back from US yesterday via St Louis and NY - couldn't believe the volume of people in transit at all the airports, with relatives waiting to whisk them off to a turkey scoff!

 

Also, couldn't believe how polite all the personnel were at the airports, despite the massive business - always astounded by how friendly you guys are .. shame it's not more like that over here sometimes:D

John, you caught us at our best. Im not sure if Thanksgiving or Christmas is bigger over here. You should have hung around for a few days, epsecially if you were in the south, one of us southerners would have offered to let you join our family for the holiday.

have to agree with johnboy, its only once you come back home to England from the good ol' US of A that you realise how much this place truly sucks!!!!!

 

go to eat in america & your treated like a member of your waiter/ress's family, friendly chats, cant do enough for you, nothing seems too much trouble, no matter what you ask for. over here you get your food chucked on the table as the waitress runs past at speeds close to our zeds. & if you ask for a drink as they pass (whilst avoiding eye contact with anyone in thier path) its just like youve asked them for the impossible

 

oh & we have to pay about ten times as much to eat out. oh and pay for refils on soft drinks/ tea/ coffee. oh & you dont get to "eat all you can". what a rip off :rolleyes:

Mark, I am going to wait until the spring and then its either G35 Coupe (2+2 350Z), 350Z Touring or a 300ZX 2+2 TT Conversion. With any of them Im going to stay away from those automagic transmissions. But for now I will stick to driving the Turbo VW Bora that I bought for the wife. There are lots of girls over here looking for a nice guy, you should come over.
