well i'm just waiting the call to tell me the zed is ready to collect after what was going to be a simple sill repair welding wise which turned into, both rear sills, both front sills, and both rear bumper supports, glad to say they have had a first class job done on them by guy eastwood, who jeff tt reccomended to me (he did all the zedworld welding jobs) so has done hundreds of zeds, so i knew the car was in safe hands. here are a few pics of work in progress, he is also waxoilin the box sections to help protect them.

just got back from picking up the zed and wow what a fantastic job, you can't even tell the sills have been welded and as an added bonus, all the box sections in the sills and bumper supports have been waxoiled with access points left so i can reapply it every few years. interesting journey back though, stopped in the services and a guy came straight over to talk to me about the zed. turns out he was a former owener of one untill a few years ago and regrets selling!. plus when i came out of the services there were random people taking pics of the old girl, just wish it hadn't been so dirty after driving down the motorway in the rain lol.

That's my next job as well as removing the rear spats the fronts were virtually destroyed so have been left off. Rears arn't much better lol

Keep those pictures safe because if you need to prove that car is worth something an engineer will take all that into account
