Tried the search function but to no avail,

I can activate the cruise function using the right hand pod and the light on the dash comes on, however when I go to engage the cruise control the second lights flashes , and the cruise control does not activate,

Anyone got any experience or know of any diagnostics etc

Cheers

Faulty ACSD ECU (sits under the main ECU in the passenger footwell). Is yours JDM or UK? If it's JDM, then it's a great time to upgrade to the UK version which is not restricted.

Here are the pages from the '96 FSM for the ASCD (cruise control):

Page el-223 has the conditions for the flashing "cruise" light and the corresponding diagnostics. The

ASCD related switches on the brake and clutch (manual) pedals can be problematic.
