Managed to buy the scuttle panels (both side) for £20 and they've just turned up. Frankly they're in great shap although need painting.

 

What do you guys think? Paint the same code black as the car or just something like plasticoat or plastidip?

They're all the same. Here's mine (stock brand new).

 

I brought new ones a few years back and yeah they arnt satin black or even near it it's a funny charcoal colour, a dark metallic grey with a gold fleck to it.

I went for 800, the grey primer from Halfords is not too bad with four to five coats.

They look good & will look great when fitted.

Thanks mate. I was hoping to do the rest of the sending today but I've cracked my neck and cant move my head much... Will get back to it asap.

Ford graphite grey seems to match the mirror flitches pretty well.

The wiper arms aren't too bad mate. Done them with splatidip about 3 years ago. Could probably redo them

Yeah hopefully I'll not have any problems with it between now and then. But really need to sort the arches one way or another

It should be there. Been doing loads of the small stuff I can do myself lately... Like the stuff ya want to do but can never be bothered

New cam belt and MOT coming up on mine soon so bring on the Summer.

Yeah, not is next month I think. I'm just worried about the emissions as I keep getting black exhausts so think it's overfuelling too much
