Just secured a set of nismo lmgt4s

They are 19 x 8.5 et25 front

19 x 9.5 et30 rear

I'll be running a 275 on the rear and probably a 235 front

I think I might want a 5mm spacer front and rear to get perfectly flush.

My thoughts on that are that its impossible to run a hub centric that thin, does the wheel still engage on the spigot when mounted 5mm out?

Standard arches at the moment but I can give the rear a tweak if needed.

They are the silver ones with diamond cut lip, they will need a bit of a refurb at some point but that can wait.

The front tyres need replacing so I have a choice- si any reason you would go for a 245? I don't want to be suffering tram lining.

As for price, they were around 1k which is quite a bit for a used set of wheels that could do with a refurb, on the other hand I have been wanting a set of these for the last 10 years and new they were a stupid amount.

They came from the UK, Hong kong is not that great for car bits unless you count the eBay stuff.

There are 3 sets on eBay all well over 1k and all 17s so I think I had a good deal, I'm considering them an investment.

Hopefully being 19's they won't look too big for my shorty

Thanks for the advice guys, pics fitted to come in early May. I'll pop some other pics up in the mean time

Looking forward to seeing the pics mate, nice rims!

245 will fill your arch a little more. I run 245 35 19 on the front of mine and noticed no difference from my previous tyres on my old wheels of 235 35 18 in terms of tramp-lining.

Thanks for the advice si,

Any thoughts on tyre choice, I always used to run eagle f1s

Tyre aesthetics will play a part in the choice

MPSS are just about the best out there at the moment, and Tyreleader had them at good prices for 19's last I looked.

Zed #2: 1998 Midnight Purple 2+2 NA. (owned 2020 - now)

Zed #1: 1995 Blue Slicktop NA (2013-2015)
