Is there a solid reliable way to identify tt injectors over NA? After this mess over the NA engine I want to ensure I've got what I think I've got. I know what colour they should be but as you likely know they fade/change colour. I've looked into flow testing them to be sure but this works out at £21+postage+vat per injector which soon adds up, il go that way if I must but I thought there may be a printed code etc?

if you mean early style injectors:

NA injectors are red

TT injectors are purple when new, but fade to a brownish color over time.

I think they are like the top ones, trouble is I would describe as brown. Brown could infer either. Do NA injectors remain quite red then?

I am just glad you are not colour blind Stephen....... then this would be difficult.........lol

Watching my Z disintegrate on my driveway!!!

yes, NA injectors remain red and don't have the color fading/changing problem

There are many companies that will flow test for a lot less than that Stephen. I had a basic flow test done on mine for £25 including return postage. Although I ended up paying 90 as they carried out an ultrasonic clean and balanced them.

That was from a company called blink Motorsport but there are lots of different companies offering a similar priced service. Small price for piece of mind in my opinion.

Ah that's helpful Joel, I was struggling to find companies on google. I assumed it was something I'd be able to source locally.

Il let him clarify that one but yeah I had spoken to him and it wasn't CURRENTLY an option.
