Has anyone got a Wiring Specialities RHD engine harness either fitted or not fitted, I'm after a small favour/little help please. In fact a LHD one may be just as helpful if that's what you have, thanks.

So the engine is installed and the harness is all connected up? Did you install it yourself?

engines installed and I trial fitted it but its currently disconnected again and just sitting to the side as i'm doing some other stuff on the engine.

Lee, are you in a position to take a photo of the area where the loom comes through the bulkhead from the main grommet on the engine side? I'm just trying to gauge how much excess wire there is from the grommet. The area that you would expect to be really long and require tucking away if it was a LHD loom.

I'll nip to the garage tonight on the way home.

 

On mine which is a RHD loom there is about a ft of loom that bends round much like the old one used to (I think).

 

Although the loom is very tough and I mind trying to bend it isn't easy.

ahh, I cheat. I pulled through the excess as I have lots of space under the dash. There's definitely more loom than you'd expect. Can't take any pics, engine at Jimmers, shell at bodymech, loom in a box!
