Well, traction control arrived this morning!!! Within 3 and a half hours it was fitted and calibrated! Fairly simple job if you take your time and don't rush into it!

So, the question is..... Am I the first to have it fitted instead of it being an ornament in the garage or has somebody else beaten me to it????

Seriously though guys, this is not a difficult job as long as you take your time (oh yeah, and can use a soldering iron!). All I,ve got to do now is put all the trim back in which should take about half an hour and I'm one happy chappy!!! smile.gif

CheerZ to Johnny for sorting the deal out in the first place. Top man!!!

You are probably the first to fit it from the GB.

I got mine a good while back from Johnny ;-)

Got mine, but it's sitting in it's box until I get my car back. On top of my kitchen, unwrapped, trip to MK for mine. Too lazy to take it on myself.

Be interesting to see how effective it is though, thorough testing is going to be the fun part.

Let us know how you get on with it.

;-)

Still waiting for mine to arrive.

What trim do you have to remove?

I have heard the ABS box is in the boot and needs a few connections and the same at the ECU end. Is this right and what are the instructions like?

Hey Eric... I'm somewhere amongst that stripped out Z :-)

This is Jez's car in the middle of Holland and only an hour to go before we had to get back on the road.

A good example of how many interior parts need to be removed though!

Steve

Just an update - this thing is wicked!!! Plant yer foot in second gear round a sharp corner and it just looks after you, thats all I can say!!! Launch control sounds good as well smile.gif Not tried the launch control though 'cos I've only got a standard clutch and don't want to burn the thing out of all existence wink.gif Will try this at santa pod though smile.gif

Andy
