I bought my first 300zx TT today (loving it) and the previous owner had a 5 paddle clutch fitted with the view of having more power going through the car. My issue is, with it being a daily driver and I require being able to parallel park quite frequently, what would be a good clutch to swap this out for? Are there issues with skipping with an OEM clutch? Or is it worth putting in a slightly uprated normal clutch? Also, what's the sort of price range I'll be looking at for fitting, is it something who my mechanic who is unfamiliar with zeds be able to do?

Many thanks in advance!

I don't think it's a specialist job, it's like any other rwd clutch as far as I know.

I don't think I will go back now I've used a "Competition Clutch" clutch. A stock one will probably be fine for you, but I personally would give myself some headroom and call up Competition clutch uk, ask some questions. I personally like a strong clutch, they will get yiu one that is a disc, stronger than stock but totally smooth to use.

Okay, well that's good news then! Would you happen to have a link to the one you have?

You can't go wrong with an RPS street max clutch. It's a full face clutch for smooth engagement, a little heavier than stock but perfectly fine for daily driving and is rated to over 500 lbs ft of torque so gives you plenty of head room

What sort of price do they fetch, and are they available in the UK? I couldn't find a supplier. I was hoping to pay in the region of £200–£250 for the parts.

Don't know fella, I haven't bought see parts from the UK in about 6 years. Both Z1 and Concept Z performance sell them

Yeah it will, but obvs leaves you a bit less head room for further mods.Yes mate they deliver to UK. I personally get my bits from czp, but either z1 or czp will sort you out no probs

A bit cheaper from CZP too! Cheers for your help. I think I'll go for the sport street.
