Hi guys,

ย

Tried to refit my PS pump last night but couldn't get it located properly. On the front part of the carrier bracket where the bolt goes through there appears to be one of those rings that slips back as you tighten the bolt to hold it in place. I can't get this to budge back at all to get the pump located properly even persuading it with a hammer. Any tips?

I know I've struggled to get the pump into the bracket before as if it it didn't quite fit. Some filing made that easier. I can't really grab what your asking though. You are refitting the pump that was previously in there yeah?

Yeah same pump just can't get in the last few mm, did consider getting the file out but thought I'd ask first. Cheers bud

Thanks guys, tapped it back out and had to shave the back with a dremel but all sorted now.

Does anybody know the correct deflection for the belts? I've read various things but they all differ and couldn't find anything in the workshop manual. I'm reusing the belts if that makes a difference?
