Well, the wreckage of Jans 98 zed was classes as cat B and sold last Thursday. I've been scouring ebay to make I source the things people have been asking for to get in first and make sure I can get them. But Nothing. It seems to have disappeared into thin air by whoever bought it

But Then, another zed is stolen of a drive..... and as someone said why steal parts if you can steal a whole car ?

Knowing what damage I did to Jan's, and I've still got aches and pains from it, I hope no one is trying to get it back on the road

They may be wanting to modify the one that was stolen and repaint it ......

Shame

Real shame you couldnt find anyone nearby to store it or you could have bought it back and sold it straight on to a member for parts lol

All CAT Bs have to have their bodies crushed. Salvageable parts are allowed to be removed but that's it.

Yes I know I offered to do a deal with a couple of people but when they discovered it was in york the said transport costs would kill it

Maybe thats why nothings appeared for sale then !

Why do you assume parts from that car will be advertised for sale 3 days after someone bought it? They might not even have collected it yet.

I think cat b car can only be sold to licenced salvage traders anyway

Correct, you have to have the correct Environment Agency licence to buy a Cat B, no ifs and no buts.

Oh ok

Well If I was a trader I'd start putting things up straight away on ebay to make my money quicker !
