fitting after market seat info

I have never fitted after market seats before. whats the beat way to go about this in the 300zx I see after market sub frames are thin on the ground. would it be a case of modding the old oem brackets to suit. who has done this and how did you go about doing it

I have fitted a race seat in my track toy z. It came with a generic seat rail which i modified. It was time consuming but not difficult.

was looking at the old seat rails think am going to try mod them

There's usually a couple of Recaro subframes on eBay - think they'd be coming from Japan.

They'd be the easiest route to take, I reckon. :)

racaro do a sub frame then ? I was looking but did not find any

They do indeed (or did) because my Recaros are fitted using the genuine Z32-specific rails :)

had a good look cant see them any were. looking at the oem rails I have on old seat it does not look to hard to mod
