Hi I am new to the 300 zx , ive got a tt automatic one with a switch under the steering column saying auto sith like a shocker pic on it and ↑↓ on it ,what dose this do?

Certainly not stock, can you post a pic of it up ?

You've not given us much to go on, but if the car is an import then it could be fog lights.

Thanks for the replys , il take a picture in the morning and post for you guys to look at , also it seems to be smoking abit , the longer its ticking over the worse it gets but the cars not been on the road for 5 year so im hoping it needs a good clear out , any suggestions?

Welcome to the club Ryan. What year is your 300zx and is it a twin turbo?

Youve probably got oil residue in the plenum, i would change plugs and give it a good run, i recently visited a zed that had been stood for quite some time, that too smoked at first, but after about half hour it cleared, so you may be lucky.

Its h reg and im hoping to give it a little run tomorow, I will post a pic of it tomorrow and the switch

In which case it would be for operating a parking mast (visual aid) fitted to the n/s front bumper. They were available

as a Nissan option for JDM cars. Item 1 in picture.
