The last 2 times i've been round to start my 300 the hicas light has come on but gone back out after 5 seconds any ideas why?

Have you checked the PS fluid level?

yeah all topped up first thing I checked

goes out after 5 seconds and does not come on again when being driven

It's been a long time since I had HICAS, so struggling to remember. Could it not just be a self test?

I used to have this on a cople of my four zeds this one as well.i toped it up compleately right at the top whilst car is running.

You sure it's not flashing, it will flash out an error code if there's any. If you're not looking at it, it's easy to not realise that it's flashing and just catch the last bit.

I'm not sure if that makes sense. ;)

I'd be careful topping it up fully why running when you switch it off it will likely throw it all back out.

if you watch the level it goes down while running and when switched off it rises...
