What grade oil are people using in there zeds, it was changed in December looks clean but I don't know what grade was used so might change it gents.

Now I thought it would be thicker for an older engine, use 10 60 in my scoob been spot on for years.

Nissan recommended a 10w40 semi synth - something like Castrol Magnatec will be just fine. But if you want to go for a fully synth, then any top branded 5w40 is up to the task!

 

My question, if it was changed in December, why do it again now? Leave it alone for 4000-5000 miles; or 6 months....

Was changed by previous owner I n December but he is unsure what grade was used as a garage done it that's all.

Ahh right..... Not that you'll know for sure, but most decent garages nowadays would (or should) check up on the specs before doing an oil change. But if in doubt, then a drain and refill is a minor cost when compared to a new engine.....:thumbup:

If your running more than standard power 10w50 is what oil man recommends.
