They can get sued for saying something like that........ bit unfair on people that live there though....!!!........ :whistling:

Watching my Z disintegrate on my driveway!!!

Birmingham is one of the most depressing places in the uk what a awful place it is

I went to Birmingham a few years ago to see Jerry Seinfeld, was really surprised how nice it was in the city centre.

It is shite!

I expect that Fox News' reporter has been down Soho Street in Birmingham, seen that and nothing else!

Parts are. Very central Brum is ok and some of the nicer surrounding areas like Solihull are nice too....but the rest, I'm in agreement with. 'The Black Country' area is generally what makes it seem depressing. There is no nature ANYWHERE! The odd tree here and there, otherwise it's a concrete jungle and you can rarely know where you are when you're there and you can't tell when you cross from Dudley for example to Wolverhampton to Walsall and then to Smethwich which is really dilapidated....you could be anywhere in that area. There's been a real lack of investment there.

I have been there a few times its very grim indeed like you say concrete jungle. were I went it was spot the white man felt like I was not in the uk. just like Manchester some grim places there and yes Liverpool is an other hell hole tho I have to admit I have had my fare share of scouse girls friend. and as for London well that's the worse one of the lot cant stand the place. the people are just so good dam rude up there.

Do you like anywhere?

I love Wales! The roads are half as full as those of England! Welsh are ubber friendly too! I'm only 20 minutes from it too! :)

...and Wales loves you Simon my old friend!

Is this the American reporter who declared that Birmingham is a no go area for whites?

I've been to Birmingham once or twice :whistling: it is probably my second least favourite place in the whole country. I think I'm quite open about my number one most disliked place. I think tbh though there is a quite a list of places I really don't like, not just in England. The trouble is I'm spoilt where I live, it's genuinely one of the nicest parts of the country, it's got some rubbish bits like everywhere but from the villages in the Far East of the new forest right down through the various towns and villages all the way to lands end are some fantastic views and beautiful little places.

Heavy population densities always bring grime and unsanitary grimness. Human beings are a dirty creature, the more of them there are in one place generally the worse of a place it is, sad but true. I like fresh clean air, deserted woodland and beaches. I get to go all over the place and I'm always glad to come "home" even if the part I live in isn't the creme de la creme it's still pretty alright.

Do you love all of Wales? I bet there's a place or two you don't :p

Hirwaun, Merthyr and Port Talbot all need flattening and rebuilding. :D

The rest of Wales can stay exactly as it is! :D

TBF I haven't been there for about 10 years. Remember that phrase, "that sh!t is Newport" meaning it's grotty lol.

mid wales is my fave loads of great walks and nice things to see I really hate the city with a passion

Mid and north wales are beautiful, as is Cornwall and the wilds of Scotland, quite similar topography I think is the word. So many people go "oh Britains shit, no nice bits" those people have obviously never explored the bits that haven't been ruined are amazing.

I'm up near you tomorrow actually Si. Only for the morning though got a job in west Dorset in the afternoon.
