Iirc the bung hat you need to fit in the down pipe is the same thread size as the Lamda sensors, whatever that is, lol. Bungs are available from eBay, if they don't come with your gauge. As for the location the position from turbo is mentioned in the gauges instructions. If you look at the AEM gauges online is does say how far from the turbo the sensor should be located. Looking to do this to mine later this year when I get her back. Mine will be going in the OEM Lamda locations as I'm not runnning 02 sensors. Good luck what gauges you going for?

As bigh says the instructions tell you everything you need to know. I am running dual wideband and have them in the stock 02 sensor positions.

On turbocharged applications, you do not want them in the stock O2 sensor positions.

Noel is that because the standard holes are to close or far from the turbos?

Too close, temperatures are too high in that position for aftermarket widebands.

A good place is on the bend of the downpipes (as in the decat section, not the turbo elbows where the OEM sensors reside). Easy to feed the cable into the cabin, not subject to condensation, lots of room to work with.

also it states not to have them upside down as it will get water inside them I put mine at 45 degrees on the downpipe

10° above the horizontal is the recommended minimum angle, perpendicular to the flow of course. I've placed them at 0° with no adverse effects.

Those V bands [emoji7] I'm surprised more exhaust systems don't use them.

They're on loan from Jaffa, helped me through TOTB last year they did!

I've got to give them up soon, so I will be back to regular flange.

Oh, I've got plenty of V-Bands, but I definitely wouldn't consider cutting & shutting an exhaust just to make it V-band!
