hi everyone I m Stephen just joined the forum going to buy 300 tt as ive wanted one for the last 10 years I m going to look at one over the weekend G reg tt manual but having read a few posts I don't know weather to buy manual or auto there seems to be more auto about an it seems you get more for your money thanks stephen

hi mate thanks for the welcome going to look at one in London there one on ebay but it as no mot runs but as not been used for a few years I ask to look at it be for bidding but he said not until after Christmas which puts me off as I would have to bid for it blind thanks stephen

Rear arches and sills are the most common but have a good look everywhere Stephen and if you have a car in mind put up a link to it to see if it is known to the club.

The one im going to look at the weekend is purple tt manual I think its a lwb its got seats in the back this is going to be my first 300zx so I've got a lot to learn

Yes you have mate, I'm on my 5th and still need help constantly :) but your in the right place now and with the wealth of help and knowledge this forum and its members have to offer I'm sure you will fine.

Just don't be afraid to ask (or use the search tool).

Having started with an auto and now got a manual all I can say is that the manual makes you realise just how much power you've got but perversly, you realise just how good an auto box is at delivering it smoothly.... you pays your money and takes your choice

Thats a very good point that's often over looked, when mine was auto I was able to pull away without braking traction on snow, on compacted snow!!! Manual even grass can be a bit slipply.

Went an looked at the g reg a bit of rust on rear arches an the seal sounds a bit tiny engine sounds nice but the right hand exhaust was smoking blue which put me off thinking the turbo gone I just have to keep looking

Thanks I know what I want I don't mind a bit of work but things like turbo I can do with out
