well the zed is off to get its final fettling, a swap of the gearbox ( not that there was anything wrong with the box when it went to Andy Duffs ) but between there and zedworld it managed to get cracked ..Jeff fitted it with another box during the rebirth but its whinning like a bitch in 1st 2nd and 3rd so now Jim is going to do what needs to be done , change gearbox, sort out missfire with a new loom, find teh persistent oil leak, and hopefully find the boost leak , as well as get her a new MOT ...

 

she should be going down today and hopefully in a few weeks i will be a happy little zedder again .......

The gearbox didn't sound too clever when I was mapping it back in May last year.

 

It may be worth sending him the information where I detailed all the issues I found.
